EXCLAMATIONS EXERCISE #2 
 
1. Crap! What kind of people use their handheld devices while driving? 

 
2. I drive down the street and think, “Great Scot!” 
 
3. I see all these young drivers driving on the highway thinking that it is an appropriate 
time to multitask. 
 
4. Yes! There is a time and a place to multitask, but it is not while driving an automobile. 
 
5. Geez, I almost prefer to take public transportation. 
 
6. With public transportation, I just sit and enjoy myself; oftentimes, I do not have to 
scream out, “Jerkface,” at someone.  
 
7. Stupid! Idiotic! Foolish! Gosh, people just need to drive. 
 
8. As the old saying goes, “Shut up and drive!” 
 
9. Cellular phones used to be the most prevalent problem; however, now, we have all 
sorts of handheld applications. 
 
10. Goodness, some delinquent is playing a game while driving. 
 
11. What is worse? 
 
12. Man, they have thousands of games to choose from in their handhelds. 
 
13. Oh, forget about the road. 
 
14. I need to check my social network to see if I have any new messages or if I am 
winning the game that I started last week. 
 
15. Oh, forget that using your handheld on the road is illegal. 
 
16. Sheesh!
