DETERMINERS EXERCISE #1 1.Choosing and optimizing a new computer can be challenging. 2. Computers come in three different configurations: The Laptop, The Pad, and The Desktop. 3. Laptops are often very easy to operate and to transport compared to the desktop. 4. Pads are the most mobile type of computer. 5. The desktop configuration is the most complicated. 6. Optimization can occur when you order a new computer. 7. A person often can choose various kinds of options, including the RAM memory, the storage capacity, the type of screen, etc. 8. You can optimize the performance of the computer by choosing a decent amount of RAM and a decent amount of storage. 9. If a person chooses less RAM, then the computer will not process as many functions as one would like. 10. Likewise, if a person choose less storage capacity, a person will not be able to save as much material on the computer. 11. If storing audio, video, and other files is important, then a person should have more storage capacity. 12. If a person uses multiple applications or software functions at one time, then a person should have more RAM. 13. Again, consider your needs. 14. If you need mobile, choose a pad; if you need portable, choose a laptop; and, if you need something for large projects, choose a desktop.
