CONJUNCTIONS EXERCISE #1 
 
1. Jack and Jenny dated for two years. 
 
 
2. Recently, Jack and Jenny decided to end their relationship and split apart. 
 
 
3. Jack is together with Jill, and Jenny is together with John.  
 
 
4. Jack thinks about Jenny sometimes, but Jenny is not thinking about Jack. 
 
 
5. Jack is pondering breaking up with Jill; however, Jenny is not leaving John. 
 
 
6. Hopeful, Jack thinks that Jenny and John will split. 
 
 
7. Little does Jack know, John and Jenny are already planning to be married. 
 
 
8. Yet, Jack is persistent.  Jack decides that he will wait and see. 
 
 
9. So, two years past, and John and Jenny are married. 
 
 
10. Jack was invited to the wedding, but Jill was not invited. 
 
 
11. Jack attended, but he was not happy about seeing Jenny marry John. 
 
 
12. As two more years passed, Jack had left Jill.   
 
 
13. One day, Jack was sitting at his home lonely and miserable. 
 
 
14. But, suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and it was Jenny.
