ADVERBS EXERCISE #2 
 
1.  Kenneth is a very lucky guy. 
 
2. His girlfriend, Barbara, is unusually long, lean, and beautiful. 
 
3. However, Barbara seems very entitled. 
 
4. Oftentimes, she can be seen literally shopping for clothes every day. 
 
5. Kenneth often tries to tell Barbara to save money. 
 
6. Yet, Barbara is very difficult to understand. 
 
7. Barbara has always felt entitled and wants everything. 
 
8. Last year, she spent huge masses of money recklessly. 
 
9. She bought a boat, a new car, and a trailer. 
 
10. Since Barbara despises camping, she desperately insisted on having a camper. 
 
11. Kenneth does not really understand her motivations. 
 
12. Kenneth keeps suggesting that Barbara seek counseling immediately. 
 
13. Otherwise, he positively believes that they will ultimately be in serious debt.  
 
14. Barbara’s friends are no help to her abysmal situation. 
 
15. Her friends are just as clueless as Barbara is. 
 
16. Many of Kenneth’s friends have inadvertently hinted that he should leave Barbara or at least institute 
some sort of spending intervention.
