ADVERBS EXERCISE #1 
 
1. Johnny Jupiter was a regular daredevil. 
 
 
2. Johnny really loved to race cars, and he loved very much to jump them over large gaps. 
 
 
3. One day, Johnny decided to jump over a huge canyon. 
 
 
4. Johnny revved his engine hard nearly setting it ablaze. 
 
 
5. Johnny moved slowly and courageously towards the narrow mark. 
 
 
6. Johnny said a quick and solemn prayer for safety.   
 
 
7. He wiped his hands quickly against his side. 
 
 
8. He feverishly wiped his forehead with a cloth. 
 
 
9. And, suddenly, he revved his engine one last time. 
 
 
10. Johnny closed his eyes then he opened them wide and let off the brake cautiously. 
 
 
11. Moving deliberately, Johnny drove as fast as he could towards the canyon. 
 
 
12. Johnny approached the edge of the cliff decisively and pulled aggressively towards the sky. 
 
 
13. He flew lucidly over the canyon towards the other side. 
 
 
14. In a blink, Johnny Jupiter landed and skidded to the ground; amazingly, he had survived.
