I have Tremolino hull number 156 (manufactured May, 1985)
Main hull, deck, and amas are sound (without any collision damage/repairs),
as are the original hatches, daggerboard, rudder (has uphaul and downhaul controls)
This boat has the optional and very desirable "New Moon" amas combined
with the higher performance Hobie 18 mast, boom, and sails.
Optional windows in both cabins.
Very nice mainsail with reef, three jibs, and a spinnaker
Roller furling hardware.
Rigging in good condition.
Crossbeams /trampoline frame: all very good. Corner castings excellent - no wear. Waterstays also in good condition.
Half-moon amas (floats) excellent - no previous damage or repairs. Mounting post solid. Some cosmetic crazing and surface cracking along assembly joints - requires simple sanding/filling with some fairing compound.
Needs the screw-in inspection/access ports to be re-bedded, but they are old and oxidized so might be time for replacement.
Main hull: again no previous damage or repairs - and fiberglass is excellent. Paint is good - just needs cleaning and waxing. Original hatches.
Original fabric berths: material as new, luff-tape edges slide in sail track.
Also includes hard seats !!!!!!!
The double-axle trailer is in excellent condition, surge brakes, newly rewired and has
light bar that is removable when launching. With new, custom fitted
hull supports and a support platform to support amas in place during
assembly.
Extras: Merc 2.2 and an Achilles inflatable are available separately -- $250.00 -- to the buyer of the boat.
Reduced to $4,000 for sale completed by May 29th.
Located in Massachusetts, delivery negotaible to East Coast.
